Episode 181
NEXTLevel Men's Retreat Recap
In this episode, I begin by apologizing for missing a week of episodes without any notice. I acknowledge my weakness of forgetting small details when I'm focused on the podcast. However, I assure the listeners that I did not quit and inform them that we are only 20 episodes away from reaching episode number 200, which will be in the last week of November. I even tease the possibility of doing a giveaway for that special episode.
Moving on, I share about the men's retreat that I recently hosted in South Florida. I mention that we had a small group of four guys and emphasize the amazing experience we had creating deep connections and lasting friendships. During the retreat, we explored various topics including leadership, finding purpose in life, and understanding different personality styles. Additionally, I highlight a fun activity we engaged in for the sake of preserving the Florida ecosystem - hunting invasive iguanas.
I mention my intention to share bits and pieces of the retreat sessions in future episodes, as well as the effort I'll be putting into uploading videos from the retreat on social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. Lastly, I provide a list of the topics we covered during the retreat, which include rules of engagement, the 15 laws of the uncommon leader, the DISC model of human behavior, finding purpose in life, replacing broken soundtracks, leadership in personal and professional life, creating a life of purpose, and how all these aspects come together to create a life of impact.
Ending the episode, I promise to be back again tomorrow, and encourage the listeners to continue doing good work.
